Hi! I'm Maggie!

My name is Maggie Hollerman and I am a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am studying middle grades education with concentrations in literature and social studies and also plan to major in interdisciplinary psychology (or just get a minor in psychology). As you can probably guess from my page, I am from Chicago, Illinois! I love to go all around the city in my freetime and take pictures and I hope to eventually get pictures in every neighborhood of the city. Once I graduate, I hope to work in an inner city school in Chicago or another major city (Boston, Detroit, New York City and San Francisco are some of the ones I have considered)  In addition to photography, I also enjoy watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, and reading. I have two cats named Spooky (who may or may not peak his head into our zoom meetings and who is pictured on the left) and Max (pictured on the right). I am a part of the UIUC Illini Forensics Team (speech and debate) and enjoy writing and performing speeches for the team. I am also a member of Epsilon Delta which is the teaching fraternity on campus. I am excited for the new semester and hope to get to know some of my classmates.
